Trekking
The government has sanctioned a small portion of the thousands of miles of Inca Trail preserved for this hike. This popular classic route is 26 miles and takes 4-days. In this special itinerary we add two full days of acclimatization hikes while exploring the region ahead of the Inca trail hike. The Inca trail hike is followed by a full day hike to the extraordinary Rainbow Mountain and another full day hike to the pristine Humantay Lake.

Sacred Valley (Alpaca farm visit, Pisaq Inca Archeological site, Pisaq Market, Ollantaytambo town and archeological site)
DAY 3
Inca Trail Hike - Ollantaytambo – Piskacucho Km 82 – Llactapata- Ayapata (Walking distance: 8.7 miles/14 km (6-7 hours), Campsite altitude: 10,830 feet (high) above sea level)

Raul Ccolque, has lived in the Andes all of his life. Since he was 18-years-old he has worked on the Inca Trail on every trek to Macchu Picchu, as both a porter and a tour guide. Born and raised in a small village called Seque Raccay, Ccolque attended a Quechuan speaking elementary and high school. He then went on to Cusco University to further his studies in tourism. Growing up in a small Quechuan village ignited his passion for hiking the surrounding mountains and exploring his heritage.
