Overview

Join Heather and experience the dramatic landscapes of Slovenia’s Julian Alps on a challenging seven-day adventure combining multi-day alpine hiking, mountain huts, pristine lakes and a guided via ferrata.

The journey begins around Lake Bled before heading into Triglav National Park and the high mountains. Over four days of hiking, follow forest trails, alpine pastures and rocky mountain paths toward mountain huts beneath Mount Triglav, cross the spectacular Hribarice Pass and trek through the famous Triglav Lakes Valley.

The route is designed for experienced and physically fit hikers, with several demanding mountain days and significant elevation gain and loss. After the high-alpine trek, finish the adventure with a privately guided Grade B via ferrata above Mojstrana.

With a combination of mountain scenery, alpine lakes, traditional huts and hands-on adventure, this is an immersive way to experience one of Europe's most spectacular mountain regions.

Highlights:

● Hike through Triglav National Park, exploring lush forests, alpine meadows, and spectacular high-mountain terrain.

● Trek beneath Mount Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak, with an overnight stay at Planika Mountain Hut.

● Cross Hribarice Pass at 2,358 m and discover the breathtaking Triglav Lakes Valley.

● Spend two nights in traditional mountain huts, experiencing the authentic alpine culture of Slovenia.

● Tackle a guided Grade B via ferrata above Mojstrana, enjoying panoramic views of the Julian Alps and Karawanks.
