Overview

Experience an authentic 8-day, 7-night Alta Via 1 journey through the Dolomites, combining classic mountain-hut stays with carefully planned luggage support. The route travels through some of the region's most spectacular landscapes, including Lagazuoi, Cinque Torri, Croda da Lago, Pelmo, Civetta and Moiazza.

Over six consecutive hiking days, you'll traverse rugged limestone peaks, alpine meadows and dramatic mountain passes while staying in traditional rifugios and mountain accommodations. The itinerary avoids the heavily booked Fanes sector while retaining several iconic sections of the Dolomites.

This is a challenging trek for regular and experienced hikers, with hiking days generally lasting 5½–7 hours and involving substantial elevation gain and loss. No mandatory via ferrata is planned, but good balance and confidence on rocky and occasionally exposed mountain terrain are required.

Highlights:

● Explore the iconic Dolomites on a challenging multi-day hut-to-hut trek.

● Discover Lagazuoi and Cinque Torri, with landscapes shaped by First World War history.

● Hike beneath Croda da Lago and Pelmo, surrounded by spectacular alpine scenery.

● Traverse the dramatic Civetta and Moiazza massifs on carefully selected mountain routes.

● Experience authentic rifugio stays and the unique atmosphere of the Italian Dolomites.
