Day 1: Hike to campsite and camp set up

You will meet your guide at a predetermined place and time. Then you will head out on a hike through the forest to get to your campsite. You will pass through the second growth forest and a beautiful waterfall before reaching your campsite.

Here your guide will teach you about winter shelter building and the skills you need to stay comfortable and safe overnight in the backcountry. After setting up camp, learn about outdoor meal options before calling it a day and resting up for a day of snow skills training the next day.
