Tracey Degnan is the founder of the Woman Hiking Chicagoland Facebook group, established in March 2021. This group primarily centers around local hikes in forest preserves within the Chicagoland area and extends to various outdoor activities, including kayaking, camping, snowtubing, and snowshoeing. Her enthusiasm for the great outdoors fuels her desire to explore a broader range of activities and adventures worldwide, connecting with like-minded individuals who share her passion. Among her notable hiking achievements are a 23-mile trek around Lake Geneva in Wisconsin and a hike along a section of the Appalachian Trail in Maryland.
