Overview

Trek on your own pace to one of the world’s greatest natural splendors: Patagonia! On this trek you will explore the Chilean Torres del Paine National Park via the W Trek. You will walk alongside the breathtaking “Cuernos des Paine” and be amazed by the shapes of the “Francés Valley. You will end your trek at the magnificent Grey Glacier, and the southernmost tip of the Chilean Patagonia’s Southern Ice Fields where ice blends into clouds on the horizon.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Torres del Paine National Park - Trek to the Base of The Towers

Today’s trek follows the Ascencio Valley as it snakes through windswept hills and wide-spread forests. During the final ascent, you’ll traverse an immense boulder field until reaching one of the most iconic mountain viewpoints in the world, the Base of The Towers. At a height of 3,000ft/900m above sea level, marvel at the sheer granite walls of the (north, south, central) towers and the brilliantly turquoise glacial lake below. Take some photos and have lunch before following the same path downwards to Refugio Torre Central. After a long day of hiking, enjoy a warm dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Trek to Refugio Los Cuernos

Day 3: Explore the French Valley

Day 4: Grey Glacier and hike to suspension bridges

Day 5: Trek to Refugio Paine Grande – Return to Puerto Natales
