Cindy Vance
Cindy Vance, originally from Montana, has a deep connection to the outdoors. After moving to Utah, she embraced the state's natural beauty, including its national parks and vast landscapes. Her love for outdoor adventures grew when she started backpacking in her late 20s. Following the loss of both her parents, Cindy decided to leave her 30-year career in commercial property management to pursue her passion for the Women’s Wine Hiking Society full-time. Certified in wilderness first aid, Cindy combines her outdoor expertise with a passion for inspiring women to get outside. Her favorite hikes include Lake Blanche and Lofty Lakes Loop, and her go-to gear is a packable down blanket, perfect for trail happy hours.
Angelique Fish
Originally from a small town in Oklahoma, Angelique Fish discovered her love for hiking and backpacking at 30 when she took a spontaneous trip to Havasupai Falls. This trip, combined with the end of an emotionally abusive marriage, sparked her passion for the outdoors. With advanced degrees in English education and technical writing, Angelique balances her career in construction proposals with her outdoor pursuits. She’s also a state record holder in weightlifting and a lifelong learner studying Spanish and taking singing lessons. Certified in wilderness first aid, Angelique leads hiking and backpacking trips, book club hikes, and even hosts a summer kickball team. Her favorite trails are in the Needles District of Canyonlands, and she loves hot cocktails or a spicy jalapeno margarita when she indulges in a drink.
