Itinerary

Day 1: Look outs and fall hikes

Drive up to a look out point to take in the breathtaking views of a turquoise lake in the morning. After you've got your heart's full of this stunning lake with a backdrop of the Cascade mountains, you could go on a short 0.4 mile hike to a waterfall or a 1.5 mile trail with about 500 feet of elevation gain to take in the views of a dam.

If you are up for more adventure in the afternoon, you can experience one of the most stunning hikes in the North Cascades, which boasts of everything from meadows to ridgeline hike to subalpine forest to emerald color lake views / access to wild flowers in summer and fall colors plus larches in fall time. You could either do the entire 7.2 mile loop with 2,000 feet of elevation gain or just hike to the lake at 3.4 miles with just about 700 feet of elevation gain.

We will get in touch with you to learn your preference and give you the exact location and details for your hikes.
