9-Day Peru Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain Guided Tour with Madalyn and India
DAY 1
Arrival in Cusco and half day city tour
DAY 2
Tour the Amazing Sacred Valley of the Incas
DAY 3
Hike to Humantay Lake
Transfers
Transportation between different destinations as part of the itinerary, with one exception, the train from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes (Day 6) is not included.
Accommodation
Lodging at various hotels, camps, or other types of accommodation during the trip.
Permits and Tours
- Permits for Salkantay Trek and Machu Picchu entry. - Guided tours in Cusco (half-day), Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.
Porter
Services of a porter/mules to help carry luggage at various points during the trek, or on the mountain. (Duffle bag baggage allowance - 7kg/15.4lb)
Gear
- Sleeping bags, trekking poles, and duffel bags for personal items. - First aid kit and satellite phones for safety.
Airport transfers
Two airport transfers each way per group are included: to the hotel on the day of arrival and to the airport on the day of departure.
Local guide
A knowledgeable guide to provide insights and information about the places visited.
Some meals
Selected meals provided as part of the tour package, which may include breakfast, lunch, or dinner on certain days, as specified in the itinerary. Plus, filtered water, wake up tea, and snacks on the trail.
