Touching the Void
This documentary features two young climbers: Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, who set out to be the first to reach the summit of the Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes. When Simpson breaks his leg in a fall and a storm threatens their lives, a literal cliffhanger ensues: Yates must decide whether to cut the rope and risk Simpson's likely death.

Eiger Solo

The Man Who Skied down Everest

The Race for Everest

Between the Peaks
This film follows three friends who set out on the adventure of their lives, planning to climb 2 of 7 Summits and volunteer in every country they travel through in-between. Of course, not everything goes to plan, and the friends soon find themselves stuck living on a Chilean border town beach, venturing up volcanic cloud forests in the middle of Lake Nicaragua, exploring the Amazon jungle, and fighting a whiteout snowstorm above 20,000ft.

This climbing film was made by three climbers from the Appalachian Mountains, based on the actual first ascent of the North Fork Mountain Traverse in West Virginia.
