For those of you who want to camp but don't want to have to put up a tent, or those looking to get introduced to camping, this is a great opportunity to do so in a controlled environment. You will be staying in a large Yurt on an alpaca ranch, which will be your base to go on self-guided hikes to beautiful alpine lakes, historic railroad tunnels, or even ice caves, recommended to you based on your skill level and experience. The price is $75/person for a group of 4 people, $100/person for a group of 3 and $125/person for a group of 2. Please note that your card will be charged $75 at the time of booking and the differential based on the size of the group, closer to the trip date.

Day 1: Short alpine Lake hikes

Self guided: Hike Option 1: 4.5mile with about 1,000 ft elevation gain hike to scenic little lake located on the northeastern slope of Mount Pilchuck, with little waterfalls along the way. Hike Option 2: 5.5 mile hike with 1,400 ft elevation gain to an alpine lake in the center of an alpine wetland on the northern shoulder of Mount Pilchuck. On this hike you will experience everything from lush mountain rainforests to old-growth forests to wetlands to majestic mountain views. These hikes are suitable for kids who have done some hiking and are ready to take their hiking to the next level by going on slighly longer and more interesting trails with some rocks and roots.

On day 1, for 2 days

The Yurt is a large (700 sft +) space which can easily seep 12 people but we have restricted this number to 4 people due to COVID. You are required to bring your own bedding. Propane BBQs are available for cooking along with a covered outdoor kitchen area with cooktop stove and sink. Think of this trip as an intro to camping in a controlled environment, where you learn from your other trip mates or learn together. Once you book the trip, you will be given access to the AdventureTripr Club facebook group, where you will be provided with all resorces and guidance needed to prepare for your trip.
